SUP PILATES SUMMER
Greece, the sun and the sea, couldn’t be anything else, than the best combination to do Sup and Sup PILATES. The weather, in most months, is warm, with calm waters and no strong winds. On the PENINSULA we have the advantage of being in places where access to the sea is easy and direct.
Almost all muscle groups of the body are trained, trying to work together to balance the body on the board. This is how we improve our heart function, our performance, our breathing and strengthen the body. The movement of the sea, PILATES exercises and standing rowing activate us, giving us well-being.
SUP board PILATES classes focus on breathing, stability, balance and movement through a variety of exercises.
PILATES exercises lengthen the body, increase flexibility, improve body strength while preventing injuries. The core muscles act as stabilizers of the whole body and this keeps you tight during the class and makes your whole body feel alert. This is because the sea water causes movement in the board which must be balanced in order to complete the exercises. It is a gentle form of exercise with many variations and a different rate of intensity. Everyone, regardless of gender and age can enjoy the benefits of PILATES
